5 out of 5 stars GOOD FOR CONCRETE BUILDINGS   August 10, 2008
OK I dont live in the US, so if you live in a house, structure or apartment that isn't made out of match sticks and drywall (the rest of the world) this works really well....I bought two of these and now my 8000+ sq ft (750 m^2) apartment gets good signal in every room but the kitchen (stainless steel everything). Easy install, good features.
Make sure you buy the 7 dbi antennas (they help alot)

5 out of 5 stars This puppy knots socks!   July 8, 2008
If you have a difficult wireless LAN issue that you want to solve - this one simply will do the trick.

Consider an adobe 16 inch thick walled 4,500 sq foot two story home and the wireless penetration issues that occurs shooting downstairs and across the house 150 ft through what is effectively ~ 5-6 feet of walls and floors - and you'll get the idea.

Now we even can get signal at pool side through 2 walls and 150+ ft almost like you were plugged in to the box! - Probably underwater for that mater - but I didn't test that part out. :-)

The unit is plug and play for most home and office use and allows for more intricate setups. Uhh... negatives? - well being this powerful they put in a small cooling fan - so don't expect abosolute silence.

Remember one thing - if your ISP isn't giving you the bandwidth you need this won't speed it up - it will simply pass whatever bandwidth you have as fast and as far as you can do legally (as their packaging reminds you).

Plug and play - the only poopie thing is you need to remember to purchase two antennae to make the unit complete. Don't worry about "N" - this "G" router will do the trick.

If you don't need a tank - get this guy's younger brother @ 1/2 Watt and considerably better pricing I would guess that it would do the trick for most situations (not tested).

3 out of 5 stars Bountiful WiFi 1 Watt router   April 5, 2008
Installation took one call to the help line as the owner's manual was not complete. Then the router would not remain stable for more than about 7 hours and was returned to the manufacturer for a RMA replacement. We are still waiting the replacement. What happened was the ethernet connections remained hard connected to the Internet but the five test wireless connections all lost their IP addresses that could only be recoverd by rebooting the router. Then about 7 hours later, this repeated. We still don't have solid performance data to present. However, we did get some testing and it looked good even if unstable.

5 out of 5 stars Leopard users please read !   November 24, 2007
I am running 10.5.1 and Safari 304 hangs when accessing the internal web page. Firefox 30b1 has same issue. Spent over an hour with tech support (HIGHLY qualified agent; Called at 2am, they have 24hr support) and could not fix it.
Tried Camino 153 and it works perfectly.

Only nig is the LOUD fan noise ... May have to locate it in another room.

5 out of 5 stars Looking for a router with RANGE? This is it...   September 14, 2007
5 out of 5 found this review helpful

I've tried numerous wireless routers: Belkin, Linksys, Netgear, Ruckus and others. I have a special need for wireless surveillance over a 5 acre property. Previously the Netgear RangeMax Pre-N router provided the best coverage. Then I discovered this 1 watt (maximum allowable power) router by BountifulWiFi and could not be more pleased. I now getting 3x+ the performance at 500+ feet through walls. It was easy to setup and has numerous features(DMZ, port forwarding, and all security options, etc.) The ONLY minor complaint is some fan noise--which I guess it needs to cool the extra power...
