Dance,Dance Revolution Ultramix 2 March 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A friend of ours had the wii version of DDR ultramix and we had so much fun that we started researching for DDR ultramix for the xbox version because thats what we have and we didn't want to spend more money for the wii. We found DDR games and dance pads on amazon and they work just as good. You have to read the instructions well to understand how each game is played and how many people can play. Its great for parties or just the family and you get a great workout.
Ok game January 18, 2008 I like the game but some of the songs i don't like. I got tired of it pretty quick but thats probably just me.
Pretty Amazing June 21, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Wow, this game is something else. It's not really about dancing; it seems a little more like step aerobics. This is perfect for people trying to lose weight. As mentioned, there are many options and several songs, including some familiar ones like "Brickhouse" by The Commodores. Right now, I like the "Workout" option where you can see how many calories you're burning. I think some of the step moves they put on the "beginner" option are too hard for a beginner, but most are reasonable. I also think the steps don't make sense with the music selected sometimes, or perhaps some of the songs just don't make sense to step to. This also makes the game more challenging.
I have had a problem with the game going crazy on me, i.e. in the middle of stepping through a song under "Workout" and the game just randomly exits to the calorie chart, and then to the menu and flies through all the song selections on the menu without my selecting any of that. And it also did this with certain songs I attempted to select--the song would start then immediately cut to the calorie screen. It might just be the disc needs cleaning or a problem with my XBOX drive.
To sum up, this game is great. I am adding it to my exercise regimen!
Fun, but Ultramix 3 is better. March 17, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I play this game with my 10 year old and we like it a lot. We got this game after playing DDR Ultramix 3 for several months and we like 3 better. The songs are better and quest mode is really fun. I do like Ultramix 2 and would recommend it but if you are new to DDR, get Ultramix 3.
DDR Ultramix 2 December 31, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is the next DDR that comes after Ultramix 1. It has better songs, more easier ones in my opinion. But also harder ones. Seems like there is also more songs on here to choose from. More advanced look on this game, than it looks on Ultramix 1. If your even new to DDR, this one is also a good game, since it has the "BEGINNER" option to choose from, unlike Ultramix 1. Check this game out!!
