DO NOT BUY - WORTHLESS July 20, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The shipping speed was great...the issue is with the product. This does absolutely NOTHING in terms of creating "HD" quality viewing on anything other than the cardboard the product arrives in...horrible, complete waste of $. Wait for XBOX360 or PS3 if you want high-def gaming.
Don't waste your money on this product. July 4, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product is totally unacceptable. Reading the other reviews, and my own experience leads me to conclude that this product is poorly designed. Most likely, the cabling and switchbox are not suitable for the radio-frequency signals present on the component interface. It is obvious that the channels are interfering with each other. It does enable HD for the XBOX, but the picture is worse than SD due to ghosting/noise.
If you want HD on your classic XBOX, I recommend you buy a Psyclone component cable. It is only a few dollars more and (unlike the Intec cable) works well.
I should have listened! June 13, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought I would be a lucky one, and despite what all these bad reviews said, I bought this...it is so bad, yes, I hooked it up in a million ways, yes, I got the HD to work, but it showed ghost images of everything, which was worse then the blurriness the HD makes without a pack. So damn them for making something that doesn't work! I want my $[...]back you [...]!
High Def AV Pack June 2, 2006 I bought one of these to try, The other reviews do not do this product justice. Once installed, all you have to do is go into your video settings and put a check mark in 480, 720, and 1080. A lot of the newer games support 480, There is a vast difference in High Def 480 and a regular game. I recommend this product, It actually works.
Do Not Buy!!! May 21, 2006 The component output on this DOES NOT work correctly. It displays ghosting on all HD resolutions. I am 100% sure I am hooking it up correctly.
The S-Video, Composite, and Optical connections all work fine. So if you do not need the component connections, this adapter is much cheaper than the Microsoft Advanced AV pack.
