According to my brilliant brother-in-law, and the very smart technician who installed our new LCD TV and Home Theater System....all HDMI cables are created equal....you either get a signal or you do not! Your clear, crisp digital picture will not be diminished in any way because you are using a lower priced HDMI cable. So buy them on Amazon, by far the cheapest prices around....with "Shipping" they average around $4-5.That is better than Walmart, Costco, Best Buy etc.
If you are using a local cable box, be sure the HDMI input in the back of the box is working...(we had that happen, and had to exchange the faulty cable box with our cable provider!!!)In other words, don't assume a problem is with your HDMI cable, until you have checked all other components. ALL HDMI CABLES ARE CREATED EQUAL!!!

Cheap and well made - a good combination. Set-up a multi-source HDMI system with switch. Picture quality is excellent.

Spend a little more money and get a HDMI 1.3a CL2 rated cable. I bought a few of these and none of them worked on my dish receiver or my sony blu ray player.
