This pad works well with Macintosh and Stepmania. It is slightly more expensive than some other pads you can find on the internet, but many of these are billed as being "PC compatible", when in fact they require a PS to USB adapter to work with a computer. Be careful of this.
The game is really fun! I would definetly go with the freeware Stepmania over the only comercial version for PC/Mac, In The Groove. Not only is it free, but you can also get a huge number of really enjoyable, well scripted songs to go with it, and even edit your own songs (not possible in ITG).

I love DDR
This dance pad works great. IT doesn't slide around on the floor and the multi-plug is sweet.

I followed the advice of the previous reviewer. I got it and hooked it up two days ago to a Mac with Stepmania. It is working so well the kids are fighting over it and I am online to order another plus a usb hub today.

It actually works with "In The Groove" and "StepMania" in Mac OS X.
I've been searching for a while, spent (wasted?) some dollars on things that were supposed to work, but didn't. This worked without hassle.
