First class piece of junk September 5, 2008 This is the worst controller I have ever used. It looks great on the outside but didn't even last a year. I got this for Christmas and within 2 months the left bumper broke. I still used it up until recently, now everything moves to the left even if you're trying to go forward or to the right. I have the original controller that I have had for going on two years and it still works fine. Maybe mine was an exception since I see it got pretty good reviews, but it was an expensive exception.
Halo 3 wireless controller August 23, 2008 When it comes to Xbox 360 controllers there are no controllers out there that are as eye catchingly beautiful as these Todd McFarlene drawn Halo 3 controllers. The glossy smooth surface of the controller is a sheer joy to hold and the thumbsticks (provided it is new) are tight and precise provided that the controller is not abused. And by abused I mean anything short of dropping a freight train on it (my Fiancee's brother in law fell off a chair and landed on it with his rear and nothing happened to it.) Aside from its beauty, the controller is extremely well built, there are no connectivity issues and there are no problems using this remote and three other wireless remotes at the same time with your 360. A must have for die hard halo fans!
Perfect controller for the Halo fan. April 20, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
If you've got an Xbox 360, you need controllers. This spartan model if pefect for Halo fans of all ages. Todd McFarlane did the artwork for this controller. The picture won't soon rub off onto your hands, and it's a great conversation piece amongst your plain colored controllers.
The layout of the buttons on the Xbox 360 is amazing. It's perfect for many of the games that are on the 360. The rumble is effective, and the wireless capacity is wonderful.
The only beef I have, is that I've had two controllers that become loose on the left analog stick, and they began to drag the cursor when not touched. The Xbox Warranty I had from the console replaced them free of charge. Luckily I had extra controllers to get me by in the week it took to replace it.
When matched with the rechargable battery pack, they give you lots of gaming time between charges.
What more could a fan want? February 19, 2008 This was a gift for our son. He loved it. I came with a Master Chief action figure...could it get any better?
It's a controller dude January 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok. Its a Microsoft controller. Same as the original, just a different design. However, the left edge of mine is not exactly flush, which creates a rough edge. Not a big deal. No brainer here.
