This was super easy to replace and worked immediately. About 10 minutes to install make sure you have Torx #20 and #10 screwdrivers. This took care of the "dirty disc" error. Bought this new from OurSpecialGift.com and service was great, item was mint. This will replace any drive on the xbox.

False advertisement!
I paid $68.84/w shipping for this DVD ROM Drive which was passed off as " BRAND NEW ORIGINAL PHILIPS DVD REPLACEMENT DRIVE - 90 DAYS WARRANTY." What I received was a Remanufactured Drive. (Used) I have the photos of the Remanufactured stickers from YOBO on the sides and sticker that was removed from the top of drive, And date of original manufacture of drive. The drive had some dirt and tool marks on it and a hair just inside the door! This is false advertisement! I would like to alert anyone thinking of buying from this dishonest seller! Great way to fix the xbox dvd unreadable problem March 9, 2007
My son urged me to purchase this for him so that he could fix the broken xbox we bought on Ebay. My son opened this drive and was playing his game in less than 10 minutes, its that easy. My son is 14 years old and he completed this all by himself. Buy this it works great, my son is very happy with it.
