WAP-0004 is a Wireless LAN AP Router providing versatile functions critical to a wireless network. With its pocketed-size design, the Wireless AP Router is easy to carry and can also connect with wireless networks everywhere.Through the built-in 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 port, WAP-0004 supports AP, AP client and Router modes for different operational requirements. When switched to router mode, it can be directly connected to Cable/DSL modems and share the internet resources with network users through the wireless environment. When switched to AP Client mode, it can provide any Ethernet device such as desktops, router, game station, set-top box, printer and notebook with instant wireless networking capabilities, placing Ethernet devices anywhere and enabling interoperability among wireless network and Ethernet devices. To secure data transmission, wireless network protection can be ensured by 64/128-bit WEP encryption, WPA-PSK, SSID broadcast disable function and MAC address filtering to achieve maximum security of your network.WAP-0004 supports UPnP standard and does not require software configuration when used in the access point mode. Users can immediately use any of the products simply by attaching the cables and turning on the power. The Web-based management interface will walk the user through the network setting very easily.
